Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Chef de Partie to join a prestigious restaurant in Central London. Key Responsibilities
✓ Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes within your designated section according to restaurant standards and specifications
✓ Monitor and maintain food quality, ensuring consistent presentation and taste across all dishes served
✓ Supervise and train junior kitchen staff members, including Commis Chefs and Kitchen Assistants, providing guidance and mentorship
✓ Maintain exceptional hygiene and food safety standards in compliance with UK regulations and restaurant policies
✓ Manage stock levels for your section, minimizing waste and ensuring adequate supplies during service periods
✓ Collaborate effectively with other kitchen sections and front-of-house staff to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Essential Requirements
► Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar senior kitchen position
► Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (or willingness to obtain immediately)
► Proven ability to work efficiently under pressure in high-volume kitchen environments
► Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment operation
► Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and presentation standards
► Team player mentality with strong communication skills and ability to supervise junior staff
► Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and peak holiday periods
