We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Commis Chef in Cheltenham, GL50 to join our dynamic hospitality team. As part of our premier catering team, you’ll work with Staffing Services to support prestigious venues and events throughout the capital, gaining valuable experience and developing your hospitality career.
Key Responsibilities

Food Service Excellence: Assist with food preparation, plating, and service at events, ensuring presentation meets the highest standards - ✓
Event Setup & Breakdown: Support the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including table arrangements, buffet stations, and serving areas - ✓
Guest Service: Provide exceptional customer service to event guests, responding to requests professionally and courteously - ✓
Hygiene Standards: Maintain strict food hygiene and safety protocols in line with UK regulations and venue requirements - ✓
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, waiters, and event coordinators to ensure seamless service delivery - ✓
Venue Support: Assist with event staff requirements across various prestigious London venues
Essential Requirements
Experience
Previous hospitality and catering experience preferred but not essential. Full training provided for enthusiastic candidates.
Skills
Excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively under pressure in busy environments.
Availability
Flexible working hours including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Immediate availability for ASAP start preferred.
