Job Description
Staffing Service is urgently recruiting experienced catering and hospitality professionals for immediate temporary assignments across restaurants, hotels, event venues, corporate catering, and food service operations throughout London and major UK cities.
We have multiple positions available across various hospitality roles offering ASAP start dates, competitive hourly rates above National Living Wage, flexible shift patterns, and excellent opportunities for ongoing temporary work with our prestigious client portfolio.
Available Positions Include:
- Event Staff: Corporate events, weddings, conferences, exhibitions
- Kitchen Assistants: Food preparation, dish washing, kitchen support
- Bar Staff: Bartenders, bar backs, mixologists for venues and events
- Waiters/Waitresses: Fine dining, casual dining, event service
- Chefs & Cooks: Commis chefs, chef de partie, sous chefs
- Food Service Workers: Fast food, cafeteria, quick service
- Conference Porters: Hotel conference facilities support
- Breakfast Assistants: Hotel breakfast service teams
- Stewards: Event stewards, hospitality stewards
- Catering Assistants: General catering support roles
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and serving food and beverages to high standards
- Delivering excellent customer service to guests and clients
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with food safety regulations
- Supporting event operations and function coordination
- Following health and safety protocols and procedures
- Working effectively as part of hospitality teams
- Handling cash and payment transactions where required
- Ensuring smooth service flow during busy periods
Requirements:
- Previous experience in catering or hospitality environment (preferred)
- Food hygiene certification Level 2 (beneficial but training available)
- Excellent customer service skills and professional presentation
- Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to shifts
- Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
- Right to work in the UK with relevant documentation
- Professional references from previous hospitality employers
