Job Description
Staffing Services is seeking dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operatives for immediate placement in London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team within a fast-paced warehouse environment where you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and efficient logistics management.
As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for various essential tasks including picking and packing orders, loading and unloading deliveries, stock management, and maintaining a clean and organised workspace. Whether you’re working in a restaurant warehouse, furniture warehouse, or general distribution centre, you’ll be contributing to the backbone of supply chain operations.
We work with leading employers including Amazon, Chef’s Warehouse, Marriotts Warehouse, and numerous other prestigious warehouse facilities across London and the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities
✓ Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specified requirements
✓ Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
✓ Operate warehouse equipment including pallet trucks and forklifts (training provided)
✓ Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock takes
✓ Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
✓ Keep warehouse areas clean, organised, and hazard-free
✓ Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines
Requirements
• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential
• Strong work ethic with excellent timekeeping and reliability
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Physical fitness and ability to lift and move items safely
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Flexibility to work various shifts including days, nights, and weekends
