Key Responsibilities – Front Desk Agent in London, EC3N Duties

• Team Leadership: Manage and motivate the entire front of house team including foh supervisors, foh staff, front house receptionists, and foh team members to deliver exceptional service standards
• Guest Experience Management: Oversee all aspects of customer service front of house operations, ensuring seamless guest journeys from arrival to departure
• Operational Excellence: Coordinate daily restaurant front of house manager duties including reservations, seating arrangements, and service flow management
• Staff Scheduling: Create efficient rotas for front house staff, managing casual front of house team members and ensuring optimal coverage during peak periods
• Quality Control: Maintain highest standards in front of house job descriptions, monitor service delivery, and implement continuous improvements
• Training & Development: Coach assistant front of house managers, foh supervisors, and front house assistant teams on service excellence and operational procedures
• Customer Relations: Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints professionally, and build lasting relationships with regular patrons
• Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure all front of house duties align with food safety regulations, licensing requirements, and health and safety protocols
• Financial Management: Assist with budget control, revenue optimization, and managing front of house operational costs
• Communication: Liaise between foh and boh positions, coordinating seamlessly with kitchen teams and back of house operations
• Event Coordination: Manage special events, private dining experiences, and banqueting services as a front of house coordinator
• Technology Integration: Utilize reservation systems, point-of-sale technology, and manage front of house administrator tasks efficiently

Essential Requirements – Front Desk Agent in London, EC3N Job Description

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a front of house manager or foh manager role within busy restaurants, hotels, or hospitality venues
• Proven track record of managing foh staff teams and delivering exceptional guest satisfaction scores
• Strong understanding of restaurant foh manager job description requirements and industry best practices
• Excellent leadership skills with ability to train assistant foh managers and develop team members
• Outstanding communication abilities for coordinating front house positions and liaising with all departments
• Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for front of house corporate environments

• Multilingual abilities – particularly beneficial for international clientele
• Formal hospitality management qualifications (Level 3 or higher)
• Experience training foh team members and developing career pathways
• Knowledge of wine service and beverage management
• First aid certification and health and safety training
