Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Perform daily cleaning routines across warehouse floors, offices, washrooms, kitchens, and common areas to a high standard.
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment such as ride-on scrubber dryers, backpack vacuums, and pressure washers safely and efficiently.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling streams, ensuring compliance with site environmental policies.
- Restock janitorial supplies in washrooms and kitchens, reporting low stock levels to the supervisor.
- Carry out periodic deep cleaning tasks, including high-level dusting, strip & seal floor maintenance, and carpet shampooing.
- Adhere strictly to health & safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines for chemical usage.
- Work collaboratively within a team and communicate effectively with site management and other staff.
Essential Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience as a Site Cleaner, Cleaning Operative, or in a similar commercial/industrial cleaning role.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
