Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties

• Safely operate a variety of crane types (e.g., mobile, tower, crawler) for lifting and moving heavy loads on the airside and within construction zones at Birmingham Airport.
• Conduct thorough pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on crane machinery, reporting any defects or issues immediately to the site supervisor.
• Work closely with slingers/signallers and ground crews to plan and execute complex lifts, ensuring clear communication and adherence to lift plans at all times.

Essential Requirements & Qualifications
