Key Responsibilities & Duties
- ✓ Perform thorough post-event clean-downs, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming of large hall spaces, and waste removal from conference rooms and banquet halls.
- ✓ Clean and sanitise all venue facilities to a high standard, including toilets, backstage areas, catering kitchens, and client lounges.
- ✓ Handle furniture reconfiguration – moving chairs, tables, staging, and portable partitions according to event floor plans.
- ✓ Operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, such as carpet cleaners, scrubber-dryers, and high-reach dusters.
- ✓ Replenish venue consumables (soap, toilet paper, towels) and report any maintenance issues or damage to the supervisor.
- ✓ Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet tight turnaround times between events, often during early mornings, late nights, or weekends.
