- Inventory & Warehouse Coordination: Work closely with warehouse teams, including Factory Operatives and pickers, to ensure load plans are accurate and stock availability aligns with dispatch schedules.
- Documentation & Compliance: Accurately process shipping documents, customs paperwork (where required), PODs, and ensure all activities meet health, safety, and transport regulations.

Frequently Asked Questions
How quickly can I actually start working as a Logistics Coordinator in Wembley?
Extremely fast. If you have the required experience and documents ready (right to work, proof of address, NI number), our process can see you registered, interviewed, and placed within 24-48 hours. Many of our Wembley clients have daily start dates. The key is completing the online registration and being responsive to our consultant's calls.
Do I need any specific qualifications or a driving license?
Formal qualifications like a degree or HND are beneficial but not always essential; proven experience is king. A full UK driving license is often preferred but not always mandatory unless the role involves occasional travel to sites. The most critical"qualifications" are strong IT skills, excellent organisation, and experience with logistics software. For more on what employers value, see our resource on hiring strategies.
What's the difference between temporary and temp-to-perm?
A temporary role is for a fixed period, often to cover peaks, projects, or absence. Temp-to-perm (also known as contract-to-hire) is a trial period where you work for the agency (Staffing Service) at the client company, typically for 3-6 months. If both you and the employer are happy, you are then offered a permanent contract directly with the company. It's a low-risk way for employers to find the right long-term fit and a fantastic foot-in-the-door for candidates.
Can I apply if I live outside Wembley but can commute?
Absolutely. Many of our successful candidates commute from surrounding areas like Harrow, Brent, Ealing, and even further afield. As long as you can reliably get to the Wembley HA9 industrial estates for your shift start times, your application is welcome. We also have similar logistics coordinator opportunities in Enfield and other North London hubs if that's closer to you.
What support does Staffing Service provide after I start a role?
Comprehensive support. Your dedicated consultant will check in regularly, ensure you're getting paid correctly and on time, address any workplace issues confidentially, and provide performance feedback. We act as your advocate and HR department for the duration of your assignment. Explore our full service offering to candidates.
